O2 Rolling Out Android 4.0 For The Galaxy SII

Tuesday, June 5, 2012

Owners of the Samsung Galaxy SII on O2 can now download Android 4.0. The update was already available on other operators, so it was about time O2 customers got in on the act.

The update to Android Ice Cream Sandwich brings a number of new features to the already amazing smartphone.

Flagship additions include Face Unlocking, Visual Voicemail and Beam. You also get a new Mobile Network Data monitor, as well as an all new user-interface and a new version of Samsung's TouchWiz user-interface.

Owners of the smartphone can download the Android 4.0 update by connecting their smartphone to their desktop PC and running the Samsung Kies application. As always with new updates we recommend you backup your settings and files before proceeding.
